Flipkart delivery boy ‘killed’ in Odisha

Bhawanipatna: In a shocking incident, a parcel delivery boy was allegedly killed by unidentified miscreants in Lane-7 of Hill Town here yesterday. His body was found in a pool of blood on roadside in Hill Town today.

The deceased has been identified as Ajay Sunani (22) of Arkabahalipada here.

Sources said Ajay was working as a delivery boy of e-commerce site Flipkart. Yesterday, he had gone to Lane-7 of Hill Town to deliver a parcel but did not return after that. When Ajay did not return to his house late in the night, his family members lodged a missing complaint at Town police station at around 11.30 PM.

Today morning, he was found on roadside in Hill Town area with severe head injuries besides his bike. It is suspected that he might have been stabbed to death by some miscreants.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, no police official was available to comment on the matter till last reports came in.
