Fog in North India affects train services in Odisha. Know status

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog across several places in North India has affected the movement of trains in Odisha and elsewhere. The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has made changes in the running of trains originating from Odisha stations.

RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS

Train Number 22823 Bhubaneswar -New Delhi Rajdhani Express scheduled from Bhubaneswar at 0930 hrs (09.30a.m) on 05.01.2017 (Friday) will now leave at 0800 hrs (08.00a.m.) on 06.01.2018 (Saturday).This train was initially rescheduled earlier to leave at 1830 hrs (06.30p.m) on Friday instead of its scheduled time.

Train Number 22811 Bhubaneswar -New Delhi Rajdhani Express scheduled from Bhubaneswar at 1140 hrs (11.40 a.m.) on 06.01.2018(Saturday) will leave at 1930 hrs (07.30 p.m.) on 06.01.2018 (Saturday).

Train Number 12815 Puri-New Delhi Nandankanan Express scheduled from Puri at 1055 hrs (10.55a.m) on 06.01.2018 (Saturday) will leave at 2330 hrs (11.30p.m.) on 06.01.2018 (Saturday).

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS

Train number 22805 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminus) Superfast Express via Angul-Jharsuguda-Rourkela scheduled from Bhubaneswar at 1245 hrs (12.45p.m) on 06.01.2018 (Saturday) will remain cancelled.

Train number 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express from Bhubaneswar at 0930 hrs (09.30 a.m) on 08.01.2018 (Monday) will remain cancelled.

Bulk SMS has been sent to passengers of the above trains including Rajdhani Express for information regarding the above rescheduling and cancellation.

This had become unavoidable because of dense fog in Northern parts of India causing abnormal delay in connecting train movements and also adjustment in train timings.
