FoodFindo proposes Odisha govt a bailout package for hospitality sector

Bhubaneswar: FoodFindo today requested the Odisha government to treat restaurant owners and employees at the same parity with the frontline workers. Also, FoodFindo urged the State government to facilitate a subsidized bank interest.

A minimum two-year interest free moratorium on all EMI and bank interest on loans for the hospitality sector was also sought.

FoodFindo also requested the government consider relaxing the liquor rule such as complete or partial waiver of licence fee during no-operational period for lounge bars, clubs and restaurants. It suggested a nominal Covid fee on liquor can be imposed to make up for the revenue loss.
