Cuttack: Two-time MLA and former Odisha Minister Sayed Mustafiz Ahmed passed away here this morning after a prolonged illness. He was 77.

The popular leader and former a Health Minister was ailing since several months. He was admitted to Shifa Hospital her as he was suffering from neurological issues and also suffered brain stroke.

People from various walks of life have mourned the demise of Ahmed.

Recently, Health Minister Pratap Jena had visited the departed leader at the hospital.
