Former Works Secy Nalini Kanta Pradhan joins BJD

Bhubaneswar: Works Department former Secretary Nalini Kanta Pradhan today joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in presence of party Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the latter’s residence here.

Speculations are on rife that the party will field Pradhan from Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections.

Worth mentioning, Pradhan had resigned from the post last month citing personal reasons, a month before completion of his one-year extension tenure.
