Four hardcore Maoists arrested in Odisha

Four dreaded Maoists wanted for multiple killings in the state were arrested from a forest near Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border during a search operation, yesterday.

The arrested ultras are members of CPI-Maoist Korakundah Dalam. They have been identified as Kera Shriramulu, Kilda Nageswar Rao, Banda Prasad and Jayasingh Bunjibabu.

According to police, the four rebels were involved in ESSAR pipeline explosion, killing of three BSF jawans in an explosion at Ralwgada panchayat and murder of a tribal youth of Chittam Chilika among several other crimes.
