Four held for making Odisha Matric exam question viral

Koraput: The district police today arrested four persons for allegedly circulating Matric examination’s MIL (Odia) subject question paper on social media and helping examinees in malpractice.

The arrested have been identified as P Naresh, G Champi, G Mithoon and Prasanna Subudhi.

According to police sources, three of the accused went to the examination centre at Bandhugaon Government School in the district around 20 minutes after the commencement of the exam.

They took photos of the question paper and made those viral on social media. The trio later went to the computer shop of Prasanna Subudhi and fetched answers of the questions, following which the accused provided the answers to some of the students appearing for the exam at the school.

A complaint in this regard was lodged at the Bandhugaon police station. Acting on the complaint, police today arrested the four.
