Four held in double murder case in Odisha’s Burla

Burla: Acting swiftly in the Burla Central Line double murder case, the police today arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in the incident. A special police team led by the Sambalpur SP raided different places and arrested the accused.

The accused were Sanjeev Suna alias Sena from Burla Central Line, Shiba Chhatria, Ashis Meher and Rakesh Sashini. The police also seized a car and weapons used in the murder from the possession of the accused.

A police official said the accused will be forwarded to the court tomorrow.

It is worth to be mentioned two brothers from Burla Central Line were killed in an attack by some miscreants late last night. Laxman Bisoi and brother Sujit Bisoi of the Central Line died while undergoing treatment whereas their father Pitabas Bisoi, mother Sangeeta Bisoi and relative Narendra Bhanderkar were still admitted to the hospital.
