Four killed in Kabul suicide attack

Kabul, Aug 10:

At least four people were killed when a suicide car bomber rammed into a convoy of foreign troops here Sunday. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

“The attacker, riding an explosives-laden car, obviously targeted a convoy of foreign troops, killing four civilians and wounding 24,” reported Xinhua.

Around 10 vehicles, including one belonging to NATO-led troops, were damaged.

Zabihullah Mujahid, who claimed to be speaking for the Taliban, accepted responsibility for the attack and said militants attacked “foreign forces” destroying two tanks.
