Bhubaneswar: With likely no major change in both the Maximum and Minimum temperatures at many places during next five days, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha districts from November 1, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre forecasted today.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD centre mentioned, “Maximum temperatures observed no large change over the districts of Odisha. They were above normal at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places, below normal at a few places and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”
The highest maximum (day) temperature of 34.2°C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 13.5°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
