Ganja worth over Rs 1 crore seized from truck in Odisha

Bhawanipatna, Apr 29:
As many as 120 sacks of ganja worth over Rs one crore were seized from a truck which met accident at Chhatikuda Road in Bhawanipatna of Odisha’s Kalahandi district yesterday.

The contraband was found to be packed with ginger in the sacks, reports said.
According to sources, the truck hit an SUV which was escorting it injuring five persons.
However, four of the injured fled from hospital while undergoing treatment.
Police and Excise Department are probing into the incident.
