Girl falls off 3rd floor of OYO hotel in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A girl sustained critical injuries as she fell off the third floor of an OYO hotel in Patia area of Odisha capital, yesterday evening.

She was rescued by some youths and hotel staffers, and admitted to a private hospital here. Her condition was stated to be critical. The Infocity police have started an investigation into the incident.

Probe was underway to ascertain whether the girl was pushed by someone from the balcony or she fell off the building accidentally. Footage of CCTV cameras installed at the hotel and nearby buildings was being examined in this regard.

A male friend of the victim, who was present inside the room with her, said the girl fell from the balcony as her legs slipped.
