Girl found hanging in hostel in Odisha

Body of a girl student was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her hostel room in Sri Sri University Campus toady in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

The deceased has been identified as Somashree Dey, an under graduate student in yoga discipline of the varsity.

According to reports, inmates of the hostel spotted her hanging from ceiling fan in her room this morning and rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead by the attending doctors.

Barang police have started probe into the incident after recovering a hand-written suicide note in Bengali language. The deceased hails from West Bengal.
