Gold, cash looted from ex-banker’s house in Odisha    

Berhampur: Armed miscreants looted gold jewellery and Rs 15,000 cash from the house of a former bank official in Bank Colony area under Sadar police limits here late last night.

As per reports, the miscreants entered the house of Kanak Rao and looted 100 gram gold ornaments and Rs 15,000 cash from the house. The hooligans also attacked Rao leaving him critically injured during the robbery.

Later, Rao was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for treatment.
