Dr SC jamir, Governor, OdishaThe Governor, Dr S C Jamir has summoned State Election Commissioner (SEC) Ajit Kumar Tripathy to Raj Bhawan on Monday apparently to present his defence on the allegations leveled against him by the state Congress today.
The Governor's summon follows his meeting with a delegation of the state Congress which submitted a petition accusing the SEC of being partisan and acting in favour of the ruling Biju Janata Dal.
The SEC Tripathy told news persons that he would explain his position vis a vis the accusations by the Congress when he meets with the Governor on Monday.
