Group clash at Berhampur University leaves one critical

Berhampur: A youth sustained critical injuries during a clash between two groups on the premises of Berhampur University, today.

The victim, identified as Debashish Mishra, a former student of the varsity, has been admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for treatment. The clash was a fallout of alleged entry of non-students into the university, reports said.

Tension was prevailing in the campus after the incident. Policemen have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident. Cops have detained two persons in this connection for questioning.
