Gupta Power Infra demands land in Angul Aluminium Park

Bhubaneswar, June 7:

Gupta Power Infrastructure Limited (GPIL) has urged the Odisha government to allot land of 30 acres for setting up HT cable and ACSR conductor manufacturing unit in the proposed aluminium park developed by Idco and Nalco jointly at Angul.

Gupta PowerThe Odisha based manufacturing company, which is the manufacturer of all types of conductors and cables, has asked the state government to provide it with land in the aluminium park after it failed to get land in Khordha district where the unit was originally proposed to be set up.

“Due to non-availability of required quantum of land in Khurdha district, Idco was unable to allot the land to the GPIL. Now, the GPIL has submitted an application to Ipicol for allotment of 30 acres of land in the Angul aluminium park for consideration of the proposal,” said a letter of Idco to general manager of Ipicol.

Gupta Power manufactures all types of electrical equipment and products that include overhead conductors, HT-LT Power cables upto and including 66 KV, instrumentation cables, mining cables, thermocouple cables, airfield lighting cables, railway signaling cables and specialized cables.
