Habishyali critical in stampede inside Srimandir  

Puri: An elderly Habishyali sustained critical injuries in a stampede due to heavy rush inside Srimandir here early this morning. However, The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Sources said the woman, aged around 80-years-old, had gone yo Srimandir to take Darshan of Lord Jagannath and his divine siblings on the occasion of Diwali in the wee hours today. However, the septuagenarian fell down accident and later was rammed over by other devotees. The elderly woman lost her consciousness in the stampede.

Soon after, she was admitted to Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here for treatment.

However, it is yet to be ascertained whether the woman had visited the temple with her family or alone.
