Hardcore criminal injured in encounter with Odisha police

Wanted criminal Baya Gouda was critically injured in a police encounter today at Bardhangada forest near Sorada in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

Baya Gouda alias Santosh fired seven rounds of bullets at police and sustained bullet injuries on his right leg during the exchange of fire.
The notorious criminal was admitted to Sorada hospital.
A mouser and three live bullets were seized from him.
As per reports, around seven criminal cases, including murder and bombing, have been registered with Sorada police station against Baya.
