Hardcore woman Maoist surrenders in Odisha’s Rayagada

Rayagada, Oct 8:
A hardcore woman Maoist today surrendered before police in Odisha’s Rayagada district.

The ultra identified as Sukumari Sabar laid down arms before the superintendent of police at district headquarters office here.
At least seven cases were registered against her, police said.
The member of the outlawed group was active in Bansadhara division.
Meanwhile, three jawans have been airlifted to Raipur today who sustained grievous injuries during an exchange of fire between Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) battalion personnel and Maoists at Guteguda area in Eraburu forest in Malkangiri.
