The High Court also granted conditional bail to Salman. As per the conditions set by the court, the Bollywood star will have to first surrender at the sessions court and furnish a bail bond of Rs 30, 000. He will also have to surrender his passport at the Bandra police station and seek the permission of the court while going abroad.

The Bombay High Court, it may be noted, had given him two days’ interim bail on Wednesday after the star was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison in the 2002 case earlier in the day.
