Heavy rain to lash these 11 Odisha districts for next 2 days

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here has issued Yellow warning for as many as 11 districts across the state for next two days.

As per the latest weather bulletin, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over 11 districts in Odisha in the next two days. The districts are-Sundargarh, Keonjhar,Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur

“Heavy rain is very likely to lash one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar &Jharsuguda. Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Deogarh, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Sundergarh, Kenojhar and Jharsuguda between 8.30 am of January 2 and  8.30 am of January 3,” the bulletin read.

From 8.30 am of January 3 till 8.30 am of January 4, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Angul, it added.
