Heavy rainfall in these Odisha districts for next two days

Bhubaneswar: Since the southwest monsoon is active over Odisha, heavy rainfall is on the cards for several districts in northern and southern regions of the state during next two days.

The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued yellow warning of rainfall for some parts of Odisha till July 26.

According to a weather bulletin released by Bhubaneswar MeT, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Boudh, Kandhamal, and Sonepur today till tomorrow morning.

Similarly, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri during July 25 to July 26.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Odisha and at many places over the districts of South Odisha for next 24 hours.
