Heavy rains force ECoR to short terminate trains in south Odisha

Following heavy rainfall in south Odisha, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to short terminate some of its trains in Kottavalasa-Koraput-Kirandul Railway Section and Koraput-Rayagada Railway Section keeping in mind the safety of the passengers.

Fog problem for trains

According to an ECoR release today, 18447 Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express, scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar today will be short terminated at Rayagada and will return as 18448 Hirakhand Express from Rayagada to Bhubaneswar tomorrow evening.

18211 Durg-Jagadalpur Express, scheduled to leave Durg today, will be short terminated at Titlagarh and return to Durg from Titlagarhon tomorrow.

18005 Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express, which left Howrah on August 27, will be short terminated at Rayagada today and return to Howrah as 18006 Samaleswari Express from Rayagada tomorrow.

58301 Sambalpur-Koraput Passenger, scheduled to leave Sambalpur today, will run up to Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Koraput, the release added.
