Here’re details of six new COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Amid the rising COVID-19 cases in Odisha, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today released the details of six new cases including three employees and one student of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

Official sources said a 37 years old male, a 31 years old female, a 30 years old male who tested positive for COVID-19 are employees of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Also, a 24 years old female, a student of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, is among the new positive cases.

A 38 years old male, an employee of Apollo Hospitals, also tested positive for the deadly virus.

Besides, a 35 years old male from Pokhariput near DAV school is among the new COVID-19 cases. He has a recent travel history to Kandhamal. The sources said all positive cases have been shifted to COVID hospitals.

Another person from Bhubaneswar recovered from the infection. The person is a 46 years old male and resident of Bishnupriya Apartment, Jaydev Vihar.

So far, as many as 99 persons tested positive for the virus in Bhubaneswar.

While 54 persons recovered from the infection, three died of the disease. The number of active cases stands at 42.
