Here’re details of the new COVID19 cases in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Of the 48 new persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Odisha, 47 were lodged in different quarantine centres following their return from various states like Gujarat and West Bengal. And, the remaining one case was reported from a jail in Puri.

The 48 cases are from Jajpur (16), Ganjam (15), Kendrapara (3), Nayagarh (3), Balangir (2), Puri (4), Kandhamal ( 2), Boudh (1), Cuttack (1), Khordha (1),

With this, the number of active cases in the state surged to 652 while the number of recovered patients now stands at 220. So far, four persons have died due to the respiratory disease in the state.
