Acting on allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income, Vigilance sleuths today conducted raid at the house of science teacher of Kulihari high school at Bhawanipatna in Odisha’s Kalahandi district.

According to reports, teacher Bijay Kumar Padhi is accused of facilitating students to pass examinations by unfair means. This apart, Padhi has allegedly amassed huge amount of money illegally from a chhatua preparation centre at Kulihari.

A joint team of Koraput and Nabarangpur Vigilance department conducted raids at the teacher’s residence and the chhatua centre, informed Vigilance DSP.
