Hrithik to play Deepika’s ‘Krishna’ in this movie

Mumbai: Treat for Bollywood fans! Actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone might share screen space in Madhu Mantena’s upcoming ‘Mahabharat’ scheduled to be released in 2021.

If rumours are to be believed, Hrithik, considered the ‘Greek God’ of Bollywood for his attractive looks and perfectly chiseled physique, might play ‘Lord Krishna’ to Deepika Padukone’s ‘Draupadi’ role in the upcoming movie.

Last week Deepika and Hrithik were seen hanging out in Rohini Iyer’s party where pictures of Hrithik feeding Deepika a spoon of chocolate cake went viral. Complementing Hrithik for his work in ‘War’, the actress had earlier tweeted, “Hrithik in WAR is like Death by Chocolate from Corner House! Just Saying…”

The viral pictures of the duo’s fun time left the fans awestruck while some fans also requested them to team up for a movie. Seems like, their wish will soon be fulfilled with ‘Mahabharat’.  According to sources, Madhu Mantena, the producer of the film is a close friend of Hrithik and he is in talks with the ‘War’ actor for the role of Lord Krishna, which is quite an interesting character for any actor to play.

Earlier, both the actors expressed that they would love to work together sometime. If this happens, the two will appear on the silver screen together for the first time.
