ICU of this Odisha hospital sealed after detection of COVID-19 cases

Balangir: The ICU of Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital in Balangir district has been sealed for 7 days after COVID-19 cases were detected in the ward, informed an official in the state-run hospital today.

Source said that 3 patients admitted to the ICU ward have tested positive for COVID-19 following which the hospital authorities decided to seal the ward for a week to prevent further spread of infection.

Worth mentioning, six more COVID-19 cases have been reported from Balangir in the last 24 hours taking total count to 406 in the district. Of total cases, 120 are active and 286 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
