Identity of woman clicked with Sarathi Baba yet to be known

With the number of complainants lodged by the women against sexual harassment and threatening by the self-styled godman Sarathi Baba continues to rise, the whereabouts of one of the women, whose photograph was framed with the Baba and kept in his bedroom at his ashram at Barimula in Odisha’s Kendrapara district, is not yet known.

What makes the matter more important is that while Sarathi had relationship with a number of women who had thronged his ashram, he never had a photograph of any of these women with him.

The whereabouts of the mysterious woman and the kind of relationship she had with the tainted godman is yet to be known. Also, if Sarathi forced her to be in a relationship like he did with others needs to be seen.

It may be noted that as of today, three women have brought sexual harassment allegation against the Baba including the girl that visited Hyderabad with him and one of the Ashram inmates.

The Odisha Crime Branch has had their statements recorded under section-164 in front of the magistrate.

The Crime Branch, which has found conclusive evidence of the Baba’s stay with a woman at Golkonda hotel in Hyderabad from the CCTV footage and air travel tickets booked in their name, it is yet to find any strong evidence against the Baba as per the complaints lodged by the three women.
