IGKC Multispeciality Hospital organises various events on the occasion of World Heart Day

Bhubaneswar: IGKC Multispeciality Hospital in Bhubaneswar organised various events on the occasion of World Heart Day on Friday 29th September.

In the morning, as many as 250 people including doctors, staff and police personnel participated in a walkathon organised by the Hospital. Walkathon was flagged off by Dr. PC Dalai, Managing Director (MD) of the Hospital, a spokesperson stated.

In the afternoon, the hospital organised a Cardiac Health awareness programme. Krupasindhu Sahoo, Chairman of Senior Citizen Association-Odisha joined as Chief Guest and Partha Sarathi Ray, eminent Odia cinema and TV actor joined as the Guest of Honour.

Chairman of the hospital Dr. Subodh Das, MD Dr. Dalai, Director Dr. Brundaban Nahak, Cardiologist Dr. Kumar Gaurav Behera, CTVS Surgeon Dr. Bayon Swain and Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Rupsa Nayana Rout spoke about the significance of the World Heart Day.
