IMD predicts dry weather in these Odisha districts from November 7; check details

Bhubaneswar: With no significant System over Odisha region, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha during next three days and dry weather thereafter, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha, appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places, appreciably above normal at a few places, above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and appreciably above normal at one or two places, above normal at many places and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast:

No major change in Minimum (night) temperature during next three days over the districts of Odisha and a gradual fall of 2oC to 4oC thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 34.7°C was recorded at Angul and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 17.8°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

For Saturday (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 05.11.2023)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh and at one or two places over the rest district of Coastal Odisha, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

For Sunday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 05.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 06.11.2023)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
