Incessant rain: Road connectivity affected in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Incessant rainfall in Odisha’s Malkangiri during the last 24 hours has led to disruption of road connectivity in the district.

Due to swelling of Pateru river here, flood water was seen flowing 4-5 feet above a bridge near MV-37 village cutting off connectivity between Malkangiri and Balimela, reports said.

Similarly, road near Tarlakata was submerged as a result of which hundreds of people remained stranded on both sides of the road.
