Independence Day: 30 lakh national flags to be distributed free of cost in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a significant step towards the celebration of Independence Day-2022, the Odisha Government has decided to distribute as many as 30 lakh national flags free of cost among the people of the state.

The members of Mission Shakti of the State Government have stitched the national flags.

They have also been entrusted with the task of distributing the flags.

The government had provided financial aid to the members for making the flags.

More than 300 SHGs/ PGs across 22 districts of the state were engaged for stitching the flags.
