India-SL Barabati T20: Ticket sale at counter begins

Cuttack: Sale of tickets for the T20 international cricket match between India and Sri Lanka, scheduled to be held at the Barabati stadium in Odisha’s Cuttack on December 20, began today at three counters of the venue.

According to Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) sources, as many as 21,839 tickets were available for public from which 9,310 tickets have already been sold online. Rest of the tickets will be sold at the counters on December 16 & 17 from 9 am to 5 pm.

While tickets for special enclosure, new pavilion, AC box (gallery no. 4) and corporate box will be available at counter no. 1, tickets for other galleries will be sold at counter no. 2 and 3.

Braving the winter chill, cricket fans across the state were seen making beeline at the counters to fetch tickets in order to witness their favourite cricketers in action on the match day.

Those who have booked tickets online at www.get2thegames.com can get the hard copies of their tickets at a counter near Cambridge School here between December 18 and 20.

A maximum of two tickets will be provided to a single person. Gates will be opened for spectators from 3 pm on the match day and water bottles and pouches will not be allowed inside the stadium during the match.

Here are the ticket prices:

Gallery No. 1 and 3— Rs 600.

Gallery No. 2 and 4— Rs 500.

Gallery No. 6 and 7— Rs 400.

Special Enclosure— Rs 3,000.

New Pavilion— Rs 5,000.

AC Box (Gallery No. 4) — Rs 5,000.

Corporate Box— Rs 8,000.
