Indian woman found dead in Oman

Muscat, Sep 22 :

An Indian woman has been found dead in her apartment in Oman’s Sohar city, hours after having lost her daughter and husband in a car-tanker collision.

Jasmine Priya’s body was found in her apartment Friday and has now been sent to Muscat for an autopsy, sources close to the family said, Times of Oman reported Monday.

Her husband Timothy and daughter Daphne were killed in the accident which occurred near city’s Wadi Hibi road at around 10.30 a.m.

Police visited Priya’s apartment regarding her husband and daughter’s deaths but it found her lying dead. She was working at L&T and Timothy was working at Sohar Steels. Daphne was standard IV student at an Indian school in Sohar.

Suspicious about her death, police have launched a probe.

” Police is suspicious about the cause of Jasmine’s death, so, they have sent her body to Muscat for a detailed autopsy. Meanwhile the bodies of her husband and daughter have been kept at Saham Hospital mortuary,” a Sohar Steels official said.
