Industrial areas celebrate Biswakarma puja with festive fervor in Odisha

People in the capital city and across Odisha celebrated Biswakarma puja with fervor today.Several attractive idols of God Bishwakarma were installed at almost all the engineering workshops and shops dealing with metallic works. Several musical and cultural functions have been organised at different places to mark the occasion.

Like every year, this year also businessmen of the capital city had decided to celebrate the Biswakarma puja in a grand way. Around 200 small and big organizations of Mancheswar and Chandaka are celebrating Biswakarma puja this year.

Apart from that, the biggest Puja is being celebrated at Railway Carriage Repair Workshop in Mancheswar, where the cultural programme will be held from 16th September to 20th September. The fest has been named as ‘Maitri Mela’.
