Infosys Foundation to build toilets in 109 schools in Odisha capital

Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy today told the Odisha government the her Foundation will construct toilets in 109 government schools in the capital city as part of the Swachha Vidyalaya programme.

Sudha Murthy meets NaveenMs Murthy made the offer during her meeting with chief minister Naveen Patnaik here this evening, said a release issued by the chief minister’s office here.

The Foundation which also proposes to construct a major road in Jagatsinghpur district, has accepted the request of Odisha government to offer help in ensuring proper implementation of the school computer literacy programme.

The Infosys Foundation would train the trainers for the school computer literacy programme, the release added.

Besides, Ms Murthy also said 60 boys and girls will be provided employment every year of the state after they are trained in CIPET.
