Inter District Women’s Cricket: KIIT pip Rourkela by 7 wickets

KIIT, Bhubaneswar beat Rourkela by 7 wickets in the super league match of the Inter District Women’s Cricket at Ravenshaw Ground-I here today.

In reply to Rourkela’s 59 in 31.2 overs, KIIT easily reached the target in 12.2 overs with Biju  Sahu and Lipika Das scoring 18 and 11 runs respectively.

Ravenshaw Ground-II: Bhadrak 92 in 33.5 overs. Sasmita Mahalik – 41, Sradhanjali Sutar – 18.
Bowling (Balasore): Dalilata Sahu – 2/8, Padmabati Singh – 2/14, Sarojini Giri – 2/14.
Balasore 96/2 in 26.2 overs. Tilattama Sahu – 50 not out, Aliva Nayak – 17.
Bowling (Bhadrak): Pragyan Paramita Samal – 2/22.
Balasore won the by 8 wickets.

Nimpur Ground: Koraput 100/9 in 35 overs. Ritu Singh – 56.
Bowling (Jajpur): Anjali Das– 3/17, Jyoti Kamal – 2/18, Swagatika Rath – 2/23
Jajpur 101/0 in 16.1 overs. Jyoti Kamal – 43 not out, Sumitra Sahoo – 28 not out.
Jajpur won the match by 10 wickets.
