International scuba diver from Odisha goes inside water to wish Virat Kohli on his birthday

Cuttack: With Indian cricketer Virat Kohli turned 34 today, an international scuba diver from Odisha expressed a heart-warming message for him in a unique manner.

To make the day special for Kohli, who has been shining at the ongoing T20 World Cup since a thrilling match against Pakistan on October 23, scuba diver Sabir Bux made a series of videos in Mahanadi River in Cuttack wishing him ‘Happy Birthday’.

Holding a huge cake in the water, Sabir and his team extended their birthday wishes to Kohli through the videos shot by the Star Sports at Nandikeswari shore in Mahanadi River a day before the cricketer’s birthday.

Sabir’s team included Sanjay Kar, Pittabas Sasmal, Nasim Khan, Ruturaj, Narendra Behera, Sonu Das, Suman Singh and Bhabyashree Kar.

The team went inside the water and sent the special birthday wish to the tune of ‘Kohli tum kohram machao, 2022 world cup jeet ke lao, yeh hai hum sabki aarzu, happy birthday to you…’ The video is scheduled for telecast today on Star Sports.

The first part of the videos was shot in Goa and the remaining videos were shot in Mahanadi River in Cuttack, Sabir informed the media.
