Junior Engineer caught taking bribe in Odisha’s Keonjhar

An engineer in Odisha landed in trouble for allegedly possessing assets that was disproportionate to his known source of income.

Four teams of Cuttack vigilance cell raided the residential house of Assistance Engineer of Drainage Division Rabi Narayan Bhuyan, office and the houses of his relatives today.

According to reports, the raids are being conducted in five locations including the houses in Mahanadi Bihar in Cuttack and Pandra in Bhubaneswar for possession of disproportionate assets.

During the search, assets worth of Rs 1,52,30,185 has been traced out from possession of Bhuyan.
