ITI student dies as train hits bike in Odisha

Angul, Feb 14:

An Industrial Training Institute (ITI) student died after a goods train hit the bike he was riding in Angul district of Odisha today.

The deceased was identified as Sambit Samal of Balia Sahi near Gotamara under Banrapala police limits in the district.

According to reports, his bike was hit by a goods train while he was crossing a railway track with the two-wheeler following which he died at the scene.

Tension gripped the spot following the incident as irate villagers sat on the railway track demanding compensation for the family of the deceased.
