Jaitley meets farmers’ delegation on land bill

New Delhi, May 28:

Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday met a delegation of farmers from across the country over the issue of land bill, said an statement.

During the meeting, the farmers expressed their opinions on the land bill, which is under the consideration by a parliamentary committee.

The minister assured the delegation that their suggestions would be looked into suitably and that their interests would not be ignored.

He also asked the leader of the delegation, Naresh Sirohi, to look into the issues and suggestions on matters related to the land bill and submit a report to him. (IANS)
