Jajpur Collector seals this panchayat after COVID-19 case is found

Jajpur: The Jajpur district administration today sealed Odisso gram panchayat after a COVID-19 positive case was detected in Karanjiari village on May 15.

As per an order issued by Jajpur District Collector Ranjan Kumar Das, the containment zone order will be in force in Odisso, Andeigoda, Mangarajpur, Bahabalapur, Karanjiari villages under Odisso gram panchayat of Rasulpur block from 7 AM on May 16 to 7 AM June 13.

The order further said no public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and the inhabitants within the containment zone shall not move out.

All the inhabitants within the containment zones will have to strictly remain in home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature will continue to remain closed. The supply of Essentials Commodities and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by Jajpur administration, it said.
