Jaundice situation turns grim in Odisha capital, reaches 50

Jaundice in Odisha capital grows worse with 50 cases already detected and is spreading to newer areas like Kargil Basti with 10 more blood samples being sent for tests today .

Yesterday , 12 more cases were detected in Jharna Sahi in Bhubaneswar taking the total number of patients affected by the water borne disease to 50.
Three patients in serious condition have been admitted to Capital hospital.
The public health department (PHD) undertook 114 health check ups and collected 38 blood, 47 urine samples in the affected area.
Notably,six cases of jaundice were detected from Damana this month.
