Jessy admitted to hospital in Odisha’s Soro

Arrested Odisha telly artist Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy was today admitted to the Government Hospital at Soro by jail authorities after she vomited several times.

Soro sub-jail authorities rushed the popular telly artist to the Government Hospital where she was admitted and administered with intravenous fluids for rehydration, jail sources said.

Jessy complained of nausea following which the inmates informed the authorities to provide medical aid.

The telly actor was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide of actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja.

Currently, she is lodged in the Soro sub jail after her bail plea was rejected by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court Soro on the day of arrest. Later she has moved the District & Sessions Judge Court Balasore seeking bail, the hearing of which has been posted to March 1.
