Jewelleries worth Rs 30 lakh looted in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A miscreant allegedly looted a bag containing jewelleries worth over Rs 30 lakh at Indradhanu Market in Nayapalli area of Odisha capital last night.

The incident took place when owner of a jewellery shop at Indradhanu Market was closing the shop and had kept the bag containing the jewelleries near the entrance.

The robber picked up the bag when the owner had gone inside the shop for some purpose and fled the spot.

Police have started investigation into the incident and efforts were on to identify the wrongdoer on the basis of CCTV footage.
