Jharpada jail raided; SIM card, huge cache of narcotics seized

Bhubaneswar: The illegal practice inside jail came to fore with a raid at the Jharpada Special Jail and seizure of a huge cache of narcotics and a SIM card.

A team of Commissionerate police led by Bhubaneswar DCP Arun Sahoo conducted a surprise raid at Jharpada jail and seized a SIM card and narcotics including gutkha, beedi, gajna, lighters and match boxes from various cells of the prison.
