Odisha eves defeated Nagaland by two goals to one in a thrilling league quarter-final encounter in the Junior National Women’s Football Championship at Barabati Stadium here on Thursday.

Jabamani Tudu of Odisha scored the first goal for her team in the 12^th minute. However, the score was levelled after Ruth Rengma scored a goal in the 42^nd minute. After the change of sides, Sinulata Sahoo scored the winning goal in the 61^st minute.

In another match of the day, Manipur defeated Kerala 3-0 at the Police Ground.

For Manipur, Ksh. Margarti Devi, N Ratanabala Devi and Dangmei Grace scored a goal each.

In the league round matches on Friday, Bihar and Meghalaya would meet at the Police Ground while Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra would meet at Barabati Stadium.
