Khariar BDO in Odisha Vigilance net: Here’s the list of assets unearthed during raids

Nuapada: Khariar BDO Narayan Sahoo, who landed in Vigilance net for allegedly accumulating wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income, was found in possession of properties and valuables worth crores during searches today.

The Vigilance sleuths during raids at multiple places in connection with allegation against Block Development Officer, Khariar, Nuapada district, unearthed over Rs 3.8 lakh cash, plots, jewelries and luxury car.

So far, following assets have been unearthed in name of the corrupt official and his family members.

1. Rs.3.84 Lakh cash.

2. One double storeyed building at the backside of Vatika Hotel, Balangir town.

3. Land/Plots in and around Balangir; here’re details:

i) 1 plot measuring area Ac 0.096 dec, Plot No.83, Khata No.236, Mauza-Bolangir, Balangir town.

ii) A piece of land  measuring about 2.3 Acres comprising 10 plots vide Plot No.2544, 2547, 2532, 2524, 2689, 2523, 2526, 2522, 2691 and  2702, Khata No.15, Mauza-Kusmel, Balangir.

iii) A piece of land measuring about 6.5 Acres comprising 9 Plots vide Plot No.2543, 2545/3340, 2550, 2546, 2528, 2521, 2502, 2551 and 2520, Khata No.351/336, Mauza-Kusmel, Balangir.

iv) 1 plot measuring area Ac 0.92 dec, Plot No.2541, 2552 and 2553, Khata No. 323 Mauza-Kusmel, Balangir.

v) 1 plot measuring area Ac 0.19 dec, Plot No.2552, Khata No.323 Mauza-Kusmel, Balangir.

4. Gold approx 400 Gms.

5. 1 four wheeler (Hyundai Creta).

6. 2 two wheelers.
